"The potential for mystical experience is the natural birthright of all human beings."
Stanislav Grof
Holotropic Breathwork®
Holotropic Breathwork® is a powerful experiential practice developed by Stanislav and his late wife Christina Grof that uses accelerated breathing, music, and intentional setting to access expanded states of consciousness.

These states can allow individuals to explore psychological, emotional, and archetypal material that normally remains outside ordinary awareness.

Preparation
A mandatory preparation talk is required before participating in Holotropic Breathwork. A one hour online session will be scheduled in advance. You are encouraged to attend the session, but may watch the recording if the timing doesn't align. Holotropic Breathwork involves robust engagement of the circulatory, emotional, and sometimes physical body. Therefore, it is not for everyone. Please review the contraindications and seek advice from your medical provider if you have any concerns.

Session
The session involve deeper and faster breathing, in a darkened room, with evocative curated music played at a high volume. A team of facilitators and helpers will guide the journey, in some cases offering resistance-oriented bodywork to move stuck energy. The entire set and setting is carefully designed to support deep inner work.

Each experience of Holotropic Breathwork involves two 2.5-3 hour music sessions. In one set you will be the "breather" and the other a "sitter". As a breather, you explore your psyche. As a sitter, you hold space intentionally for your chosen partner. Both experiences are powerful.

Integration
Integration starts with a mandala drawing/painting following your session. The group will reconvene at the end of the day to optionally share their experience. You will be given integration guidance before returning home. A follow up integration online call will be offered within two weeks following your session.
